Located in Mount Maunganui, TrustPower Baypark Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium with a seating capacity of 19,800 people. It is currently used for dirt track Speedway and jet sprint events during summer, as well as various other events throughout the year.

Network Services was tasked with providing electrical engineering & design solution for TrustPower Baypark Stadium.

Upon the completion of the project, not only did Network Services take care of all the electrical installation, including speedway lighting upgrading and stadium lighting for Super 15 Rugby, we also made sure that the facilities were ready to be used for various purposes, such as sports competition, exhibition, concert or full conference/banquet events.

We provided professional and innovative solutions to cater to all their electrical needs, making sure a range of events and activities were available – from a dedicated 1 MVA transformer as a mains input to a 750kVA generator as a backup to the transformer supply, everything was carefully planned and executed.

The result is a stadium with versatile options for sports, business, leisure and entertainment events in the heart of Mount Maunganui.
